Exhibition of Liturgical Items
We cannot talk about the existence of the Roda Cathedral Museum alone, without the building hosting it, since St. Vincent’ Cathedral in Roda is the venue and the contents of the museum at the same time.
It stands out notably for its collection of costumes, owing to the lack of Islamic fabric remaining in Spain dating back to before the 13th century.
There is a St. Raymond cape of extraordinary dimensions, without any pictures on it, made from crimson silk dating back to the 12th century. The remains of St. Valerius are revered on the altar of the north crypt in a Romanesque artwork reliquary coffer dating back to the 12th century.
