Castejón de Sos Village
Located in the Upper Ésera, to the north-east of Huesca province, in the heart of the Pyrenees and in the historical County of Ribagorza. Castejón de Sos also comprises the villages of Liri, Ramastué and El Run. Located at an altitude of 900 metres, the climate is not particularly extreme in winter since it is protected from the northerly winds, and in summer has some pleasantly mild temperatures.
Castejón de Sos is also famous for Paragliding, and is one of the best areas for free flight (paragliding, hang-gliding, planing...) En 1997, Castejón de Sos was home to the World Championship, and has also organised many Spanish Paragliding Championships and several qualifying events for the World Cup.
