Seira is the true gateway at the entrance to Benasque Valley, through the impressive Congosto de Ventamillo. It also includes the higher village of Barbaruens, at 1136 metres high. Seira also has other villages:
Abi: Located 3km outside Seira, access is via a narrow, steeply climbing road, and once reach this small village, you will be able to enjoy the spectacular views of the valley. It has a parish church dedicated to St. Michael.
Barbaruens: Located 8 km from Seira, it is in the middle of the mountainside surrounded by forest, between Chía and Cotiella. On the access road, you will find the 16th century church, which at present is a shrine that remains from the former Visigoth monastery.
