Cross-country skiing is a healthy physical exercise, independent of the intensity with which is being practiced. Either you practice it faster or slower, you will finally reach the finish line... that one of spending a memorable day.

Located in the heart of Posets-Maladeta Nature Park, Llanos del Hospital Nordic Area lets visitors enjoy its great landscape richness by observing glaciers, black pine forests with its own habitat and wild animals. It is an area with circuits that flow into extraordinarily beautiful spots and provides visitors with multiple services.

The starting point is the former Hospital de Benasque (1,750 m), where arise the more than 30 km of slopes that are operating during all winter and part of the spring thanks to its high altitude and perfect location, the northern face of Maladetas massif. The area is divided into 3 zones: Plan del Hospital, the easiest one; Plan de L’Están, aimed at medium level; and Besurta, with a more demanding level. The slopes are also prepared for walking in snowshoes and practicing ski touring or other type of winter activities.
