This municipality covers the towns of Castejón de Sos, Liri, Ramastué and El Run and it is located at 900 metres high. Its climate is not really extreme in winter since it remains protected from the northern winds, and in summer the temperature is soft and pleasant.
Castejón de Sos is culturally restless and locals organize different events during all year long, such as the Jazz Festival, the international harp courses, concerts, debates, exhibitions and performances overall. Rich in history, this town has a small chapel devoted to Nuestra Señora de la Plana dating back to the 17th century and an old town area with enormous stately houses of noble doors and stone façades, and the remains of the former 17th century church which has been restored and nowadays has become a cultural centre.
However, what makes Castejón de Sos so brilliant it is the fact of being the best flight area in the old, whether for paragliding, hang glider or ultralight practice with a self aerodrome. Also stand out the wide offer of routes and descents that the MTB Company Puro Pirineo has created in this municipality and its attractive paths proposals for hiking.
