What is the Benasque Valley?

The splendid nature of the Benasque valley makes it an ideal place to enjoy outdoor activity all year round. The high peaks covered with snow in winter, perfect for enjoying skiing, are also in summer a paradise that invites you to enjoy the environment.
The Benasque Valley, the centre and heart of the Pyrenees, is home to the largest number of peaks 3,000 metres high in the Pyrenees, distributed among three groups of peaks around the massifs of La Maladetas, Posets and Perdiguero. The peaks with the most possibilities and climbs on different routes are those of the Agujas de Perramó (2,550) although there are many very attractive peaks for mountaineers such as the Tucas de Ixeia, Turmo, Batisielles, Jean Arlaud peak, needle of the Paul, Bardamina peak, Crabide peak, Gías peak or Perdiguero peak.

Those same routes that in days gone by were used by horses and travellers, have become ideal secluded tracks for mountain biking.

The Ésera River is the backbone of Benasque Valley and Campo, the gateway to the valley, is the ideal place to do all manner of water sports, suitable for families and more quiet people

The Grand Trail Trangoworld Aneto Posets has already been scheduled for 20nd, 21rd and 22th July 2018.
Balcones del Pirineo
A route designed to see the Pyrenees from a different perspective, touring the local roads and enjoying the unbeatable panoramic views of the Pyrenees, the outlying mountain ranges and the general area.

Mountain and nature
It is surrounded by the highest concentration of peaks with more than 3,000 merits of the whole Pyrenees, among which stand out in Aneto with 3,404 meters of altitude, Posest 3,375 meters and Perdiguero 3,221 meters, to the north and the moles del Turbón 2,492 meters and Cotiella 2912 meters to the south.
